Divine nature

I never cease to be amazed by the cycle of nature. These tiny cyclamens pop up under the Cyprus each year ... first the flowers and later their pretty patterned leaves. Before I moved here I thought of cyclamens were only hot house plants sold in florist shops.

What wonderful wonderful Autumn weather we had yesterday. Sunny and crisp and the gardens fresh with the recent rain. Perfect for Alfresco dining so did that instead of gardening!

Reflection:
Romans 1:20 (New International Version)
"For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse."

  1. Nature is awe-some and has the capacity to leave me breathless ... Cyclamen is a glorious flower ... In Italy they were as common as the Petunia is here ..

  2. I didn't realise the cyclamens were so common in Italy. I have only visited there once and that was in mid-winter.

  3. Me neither ... I was there in early autumn 2006 and there were rows and rows of the most glorious cyclamen at all markets and florists ... healthy plants with glorious blooms ... and so much cheaper than in Oz ... like 3 euros ...
