Wool

I've been giving this new scarf that I knitted last week a test run over the weekend, it's certainly cold enough. The verdict -- long, luxurious, light and warm.  Boucle wool is awful to knit with.  To make it go quick I used an open lacy pattern which works because the wool is interesting in it's own right.

Reflection:
Proverbs 31:10-13 (New International Version)
"A wife of noble character who can find?
She is worth far more than rubies.
Her husband has full confidence in her
       and lacks nothing of value.
She brings him good, not harm,
all the days of her life.
She selects wool and flax
       and works with eager hands."

  2. Gorgeous scarf, just love the colour. Agree, the texture of the yarn is wonderful & would be lost if knitted close. Big needles make them knit up super fast. Glad to see it is already getting a workout.
