Memories

It's Stitching Sunday time again. Long-stitch is deceptive. It promised to work up fast but I found this one so hard to pull the wool through that it was much harder to work than other tapestry I had just finished. So I officially lothe long-stitch. However, I do remember this piece with great fondness because I worked it beside my father's hospital bed. He liked to watch its progress as his life slowly ebbed away.

That was a long time ago now. Grief has gone, many soft memories remain.

Reflection:
Proverbs 10:7 (New International Version)
The memory of the righteous will be a blessing.

  1. Soft memories are comforting and it is quite surprising when they return to the forefront of the mind.

Not only am I impressed with your needlework, I am also impressed with they way in which you are displaying each piece.
