Seeing more

View from Sunroom North Facing Window 2.

With the leaves gone I can see things I can't usually see. I like being able to see the rocks around the bank around the big cyprus.

Reflection:
Psalm 119:18 (New International Version)
Open my eyes that I may see
wonderful things in your law.

  1. Do you ever have to trim those bare branches?

I am watching my crepe myrtle carefully: want to trim but also give the seeds time to mature properly.

But want to get in before the council comes with their chainsaw and does a hatchet job ...

Can one do a hatchet job with a chainsaw?

  2. The ex-gardener (the one that hacked down the holly tree) loved lopping trees. He chopped chunks off just about every tree in the garden but not this one. It seems to have an elegant natural form so doesn't need trimming.

If my ex-gardener is anything to go by a hatchet job can certainly be done with a chainsaw.
