Tall Fall

View from the main guest bedroom a south facing window

We've gone down the hallway that runs down the centre of the old part of the house into the guest bedroom which overlooks the verandah.

I don't know what these tall plants are. Every now and then I go and lop them off and a couple of years later they are back tall and gangly.

By the way, I hope you are enjoying the tour. We have just reached halfway if I include the downstairs windows. When I started on this challenge I had no idea we had so many windows! But I've been pleased to get a reasonable range of shots thus far and it's still cold outside.

Reflection:
From 1 Samuel 17 (New International Version)
The Philistines occupied one hill and the Israelites another, with the valley between them. A champion named Goliath, who was from Gath, came out of the Philistine camp. He was over nine feet tall....
As the Philistine moved closer to attack him, David ran quickly toward the battle line to meet him. Reaching into his bag and taking out a stone, he slung it and struck the Philistine on the forehead. The stone sank into his forehead, and he fell facedown on the ground.
So David triumphed over the Philistine with a sling and a stone; without a sword in his hand he struck down the Philistine and killed him. David ran and stood over him. He took hold of the Philistine's sword and drew it from the scabbard. After he killed him, he cut off his head with the sword.

  1. I love this tour. All gardens have little spots where it is difficult to decide what to do.

This tour melds garden and house wonderfully. Any chance of a shot of the hallway or is that too dark?
