Loving care

One big old rhododendron is the only one thriving on the garden, the rest seem starved of water and loving care. Perhaps one day I will figure out how to treat them well.

Reflection:
Psalm 143:8 (New International Version)
Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love,
for I have put my trust in you.
Show me the way I should go,
for to you I lift up my soul.

  1. Maybe their "wood" is old and clogged and unable to transport goodness. Plant have a use-by date, I guess.

  2. In this case it is the old wood that is delivering and the new plants are struggling.

I agree however that plants have a use-by date, even trees, I think in a day or two I have a shot of a tree I am worrying about right now. The landscaper told me it was on it's last legs 5 or 6 years ago so I guess I should be happy it has stayed on this long.
