Growing up

When I grow up I'm going to be a zucchini.

Reflection:
Matthew 1:21 (New International Version)
She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins."

  1. I have only tried zucchini once - tried to grow it, I mean!

This was in the first house I ever owned in Canberra (Curtin). The back of the house faced NE so I put tomatoes and zucchini and something else but the word escapes me. Very annoying that.

Anyway ... they grew like the proverbial. Tomato relish, chutney, jam. Ratatouille. Coming out my ears. Could not even give enough of them away. I kid you not: hundreds of the blighters. Amazing what sun and manure and water will do ...

  2. oops ... nice shot of the flowering zucchini. That is a nice word isn't it? Nice shape to the letters. Nice sound.

I might go and have another coffee. The cicadas are driving me nuts!!

  4. I've got something that looks like that which grew as a volunteer. I think it might be a rockmelon when it grows up.
