This white border of begonias planted some years ago is doing really well this year. I think they like the rain which is doing a much better job of watering the garden than I ever do.

Psalm 16:6 (New International Version)
The boundary lines have fallen for me in pleasant places;
surely I have a delightful inheritance.

  1. nothing i like better than a brick natural!

  2. Yes, I like walkways like that, too, either brick or stone.

    Like thousand wonders too, but usually choose red. I have a white one but its leaves are that bronze variegation.

  3. I love begonias, they are pretty tough. I have common pink ones and they are getting leggy now but I cut them down and they come back again and again.

  4. Elk, I love brick and stone paths too ... we had some wonderful landscape gardeners do a great job of them in the garden.

    Julie, I remember you calling them "Thousand Wonders" when you were here. I have never heard the name before. Just look them up on the web and found a reference on Burkes Back Yard ... included this statement "they will flourish despite almost total neglect" what a perfect little plant.

    Diane, mine have never grown big enough to need cutting back ... maybe one day.
