Belladonna

The naked ladies are stirring,
King Parrots whistle from above,
Bella donna.

Reflection:

Psalm 51 (New International Version)
A psalm of David. When the prophet Nathan came to him after David had committed adultery with Bathsheba.
"Have mercy on me, O God,
according to your unfailing love;
according to your great compassion
blot out my transgressions.
Wash away all my iniquity
and cleanse me from my sin."

  1. I was introduced to a plant during this week called Buddha's Belly. I must try to find its real name. It should be pouring with rain up your way today accordng to BoM.

  2. Yes, raining again after a few days of sunshine to really lift the spirits. Today is soft rain so not too bad for a weekend lie in.

  4. Julie ... noticed you mentioned you were trying to find out the botanic name for Buddha's Belly ... think it might be Jatropha podagrica ... sometimes also called the 'Australian Bottle Plant'.
