Lightning

Fishbone ferns down the back garden.

Marvelling
at the lush green
from incessent showers.
Growling
light slashed the sky.
Time to go inside ...
again!

Reflection:
Psalm 97:4 (New International Version)
His lightning lights up the world;
the earth sees and trembles.

  1. These are a bit like bamboo, nice if able to be clumped.

  2. They are down the back in the edge of at the agapanthus patch. I remember someone saying to me once 'you should be careful of fishbone fern it's inclined to take over' and I said 'take over what? the aggies? I'll let them fight it out.'

    The aggies are winning.

  5. Can't get greener than that. Rain can be a problem at times but it sure is good for the garden. Mine is turning into a jungle with the heat and the rain. It is true, that fern can take over, Im always pulling it out and yet I never planted any. I guess its spores come on the wind.
