Sulking

Fushias bending in the rain. This time last year we were having to water the garden to get its flowers to grow. Our water bill was way down last quarter ... another nice outcome from the rain.

More grey sky and
muted sounds
as if the earth
like me is sulking.
I remind myself
rain is good.

Reflection:
Psalm 42:6 (New International Version)
My soul is downcast within me;
therefore I will remember you
from the land of the Jordan,
the heights of Hermon—from Mount Mizar.

  2. We have had rainy skies for several days now, too. Your words and scripture choice are always appropriate! God Bless! Carla

  3. i think colors are more vivid
on grey days. the leaves are
    almost as luscious as the
    fushia.

"why so downcast, oh my soul?"
love that david spoke to his soul.
