The work of our hands

My husband's workshop - taken from the south side garden

What a joy it has been to share our home and refresh longstanding friendships over the past few weeks. To sit in bright Autumn sunshine talking of our work and leisure -- art, craft photography, business, politics, writing, food, travel, family, ministry and the love of the Lord. To hear hymns from my piano on Easter morning from the hands of a master musician.

The favour of the Lord has indeed rested upon each of us.

Reflection:
Psalm 90:17 (New International Version)
May the favor of the Lord our God rest upon us;
establish the work of our hands for us—
yes, establish the work of our hands.

  1. i'm so happy for your special time with
dear friends. and i'm in heaven when
anyone plays my piano with talent.

we had the loveliest services today:
had to be at the church at 6:45 and
sing in all three services. loved every
    moment.

didn't love hosting the brunch after
for 25 people. another case of biting
off more than i could chew. :)

    love,
    lea

  2. My husband would love a shed like that. You sound like you had a lovely time with friends and their hands.

  3. This shed is so great. I would love to have some workshop like this. (It would fill half of our garden's space I fear ... ).
