Rest needed

I've been very busy with work, no time to get out into the garden as promised and very late with today's post. I did grab this shot of the rosellas on the cherry tree from the sunroom window. As you can see it is colouring up nicely.

I'm so pleased it is the weekend so I can rest up a little.

Reflection:
Genesis 2:2 (New International Version)
By the seventh day God had finished the work he had been doing; so on the seventh day he rested from all his work.

  1. rest is so important. i pray you get
lots of it this weekend . . . and some
    fun, too!

    what an enchanting bird!

    yesterday i found a robin's nest with
two gorgeous blue eggs and one very
pitiful squawking baby bird. i tried
to hide to watch the mommy feed it,
but she was much too wary.

  4. This Crimson Rosella looks a little listless judging by its colouring. Like it is ready to moult or something. I went on a ferry ride up the Lane Cover River on Thursday to see the Autumn colours - and there wasn't any!

  6. Julie, it's colour is a little off because I was photographing through the sunroom window. The leaves were reflecting back a yellowish hue on the glass.

Lea, I have never seen a birds nest in a place where I could look in and see. You can rest assured if I did I would take a photo!

Thanks everyone for the good wishes. I have had a nice reviving weekend.
