Reflecting on the Psalms
my friend's husband collects these plants that have filled her house, toher chagrine. they are very healing, though.your title reminds me of one of myvery favorite spirituals, "balm ofgilead." it is probably my mostfavorite to sing, though i feel a bitunworthy singing it. . . in light ofthe reason for the song.love, lea

I love that song "There is a Balm In Gilead." We used to sing that in our concert choir in college. I think of it often. Carla
I thought of the Balm in Gliead when choosing my verse for the day but the actual quote isn't as uplifting as the song because it doesn't contain the answer.Jeremiah 8:22 (New International Version)"Is there no balm in Gilead? Is there no physician there? Why then is there no healing for the wound of my people?"
They are handy to have in the garden to use when bitten or stung. I have one flower on mine at the moment.
i love this hue of greenish blue..I have many of these in pots..have to bring them in in the winter here..
