Nesting

And these little birds nest below the pygmy possom I showed earlier this week.

Reflection:
Psalm 104:12-13 (New International Version)
The birds of the air nest by the waters;
they sing among the branches.
He waters the mountains from his upper chambers;
the earth is satisfied by the fruit of his work.

  1. what darling little birds. the one on the
    right has lost his poor eye.

    thank you for your restraint in commenting
    on the oil spill. i would have loved to hear
    more from you, though.

    the people who made the terrible decisions
    have surely brought severe regulations down
    on those who should have already been
    following safer practices. such a tragedy
    for all.

    we had a scary story pop up shortly after
    that made our blood run cold. thankfully
    someone was brave enough to speak up
    before another disaster.

  5. This was just a little gift shop trinket that caught my husband's eye so he bought it for me ... made all the more precious for being a thoughtful gift.

    Elk I knew you would like these. Julie, I forgot you were on a bird kick so I'm glad to have delighted you too.

    AB, while they have struck a nice pose for the camera I guess we have to thank the artist who set it.

    Lea, truth is I am not well enough informed to comment. It's a sad thing but when tragedy is at a distance it just doesn't get as much focus. Even when the Victorian bush fires were blazing a mere thousand or so kilometres from here is just didn't get anywhere near the same attention from me as when I can see sparks on the night sky and billowing smoke clouds by day when there are bush fires near home.
