Dry

Guess it should have been pruned by now but who cares. It seems to make lots more flowers when it's not pruned.

Reflection:
Psalm 42: 1-2
As the deer pants for streams of water,
so my soul pants for you, O God.
My soul thirsts for God, for the living God.
When can I go and meet with God?

  1. It is a lovely dead-head, I agree. I am surprised that it makes more flowers when not pruned. I dont have any hydrangea at the moment, but when I did, I had to prune them during the winter, down to just above the new growth from the previous season.

  3. You have such a good eye. Who would think to photograph a dead head. I was unsuccessful with Hydrangeas.
