Out in the cold

This grass is doing quite well. Here is how it looked a year ago.

We're having a cold spell. Sydney had it's coldest morning in 60 years yesterday. I'm not sure about here, it doesn't feel unusually cold, though I saw frost on the neighbour's lawn this morning. The trees keep the frost at bay in our garden.

Reflection:
James 1:26-27 (The Message)
Anyone who sets himself up as "religious" by talking a good game is self-deceived. This kind of religion is hot air and only hot air. Real religion, the kind that passes muster before God the Father, is this: Reach out to the homeless and loveless in their plight, and guard against corruption from the godless world.

  1. i can't believe how many times you share
a scripture that goes hand in hand with
a post i have planned. you'll see in a few
    days.

i am amazed at how well your grass filled
in! sorry about the cold spell. we could
actually use a few of those breezes. :)
