Like little mouths singing. Makes me think of Lea's choir.
Romans 15:3 (The Message)
May our dependably steady and warmly personal God develop maturity in you so that you get along with each other as well as Jesus gets along with us all. Then we'll be a choir—not our voices only, but our very lives singing in harmony in a stunning anthem to the God and Father of our Master Jesus!

Light at play.
Psalm 33:1 (The Message)
Good people, cheer God! Right-living people sound best when praising.
Use guitars to reinforce your Hallelujahs!
Play his praise on a grand piano!
Invent your own new song to him;
give him a trumpet fanfare.

Before I went wayfaring I prepared a sequence on the books that have shaped my world but decided not to post them while I was away. Instead I am going to run them as a series of Wordy Wednesdays in B&W. Next week I will show the first of the books. This is our library where they live.
John 1:1 (New International Version)
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

We arrived back from our wayfaring trip last night, a day earlier than planned. It was a fabulous trip (which you will see over quite a few weeks over at Sweet Wayfaring starting Thursday). After dumping a pile of washing in the machine, lugging things back and forth from the caravan, and sending a few work emails it was a delight to go scamper around the garden this afternoon to see what awaited me. It still very much has it's bare winter look but things are beginning to stir.
I chose violets to honour our home coming because to me they are the sweetest homeliest of flowers.
Psalm 27:4 (New International Version)
One thing I ask of the LORD,
this is what I seek:
that I may dwell in the house of the LORD
all the days of my life,
to gaze upon the beauty of the LORD
and to seek him in his temple.

It doesn't look much but oh what a lovely perfume. Its fragrance is reaching out across the garden.
2 Corinthians 2:14 (New International Version)
But thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumphal procession in Christ and through us spreads everywhere the fragrance of the knowledge of him.

Genesis 1:22 (English Standard Version)
And God blessed them, saying, "Be fruitful and multiply and fill the waters in the seas, and let birds multiply on the earth."
