Expectation

It was a hot day yesterday so I took just a quick stroll around the garden.  At this time of year there is always freshness and expectation on my mind.  Like this prickly cycad in a thorny corner of the garden sending up new fronds.

Reflection:
"Fear not ... be glad and rejoice; for the Lord will do great things."  Joel 2:21

Joy that fades not, changes not,
Peace that leaves us never,
Joy and peace we have in Thee
Now and through eternity.

  2. They are fascinatingly prehistoric, Cycads. They are plentiful up here, too.
