Trumpets

There used to foxgloves down at the end of the woodland path but they have been gone for years. What a surprise to see one pop up this year.  The rain must have inspired it to grow.

Reflection:
Psalm 47
"Clap your hands, all you nations;
shout to God with cries of joy ...
God has ascended amid shouts of joy,
the LORD amid the sounding of trumpets.
Sing praises to God, sing praises;
sing praises to our King, sing praises."

  6. Jo, nearly every flower shot has a little critter lurking in it somewhere, but without my glasses I can't see them until the shot is processed.

  7. Beautiful foxgloves; I'm glad they popped up this year and hope more will show up next year. The more flowers the better I'd say.
