Showers of blessing

Rain may make a winter's day seem dreary but I find it difficult to not welcome rain after all those years of drought slowly killing off the plants.  After a couple of years of good rains the garden is looking lush and happy again.

Reflection:
Psalm 68:9 New International Version (NIV)
"You gave abundant showers, O God;
 you refreshed your weary inheritance."

  1. What an apt verse for your thoughts. I always enjoy taking photos after it rains as the colors are so deeply enriched.

  2. What first came to my mind, was the thought, whether this missing rain might be able to be translated to life itself. Missing rain over here for already a few months, one is indeed longing for it to fall. Thank you very much for this joy ! and your kind participation.
    Please have a wonderful new week ahead.

  4. The stones are beautiful with the moss on them. Rain is refreshing and life giving....we could use more of it here in Southern California right now.
