Songs of joy

It has not been the best year for autumn colour, too warm early in the season.  But the trees on the south side of the house that turn later have done themselves proud because the expected chill has arrived.

My heart sings at Autumn beauty.

Reflection:
Psalm 65:8 New International Version (NIV)
"The whole earth is filled with awe at your wonders;
 where morning dawns, where evening fades,
 you call forth songs of joy."

  1. Gorgeous! Is this a Japanese Maple Tree? I would love to have one, but I'm afraid it will not survive the hot summer sun...

    1. Yes Japanese Maple. You might be right about them not liking the heat, I don't remember seeing them in the hotter parts of our country.
