Nations

The wattle is flowering down the bottom of the garden.  Golden Wattle is Australia's floral emblem.  There are around 1000 species of Acacia (which we call wattle) to be found in Australia.  Many flower at this time of year and can be seen all over the place in the forests and in gardens.

Reflection:
Psalm 117 New International Version
"Praise the Lord, all you nations;
extol him, all you peoples."

  1. Such a pretty plant. It looks like little puffs of snow.

    1. No snow around here at the moment ... a warmer than usual winter and spring.

  2. The wattle were certainly out when we took a drive from Sydney to Canberra the other day.
