Fire not snow

The snowball flowers were out recently but nothing is lasting for long this spring.  It is extremely dry with dry winds blowing strongly causing bush fires to rage in the mountains.  For those who have been concerned, at the moment our town is not near the menace that has already burnt hundreds of homes.

We hope and pray for better conditions to stem the blaze.

Reflection:
Psalm 124:8 New International Version (NIV)
"Our help is in the name of the Lord,
the Maker of heaven and earth."

  1. I hope you're ok out there. The smoke is very pungent here on the coast today.
