His love endures forever

It has been Summer hot lately so we have been spending a lot of time in the cool shade of the verandah looking at the tranquil movement of fish in the pond accompanied by the cheerful bubbling of water and bop-bopping of frogs.

Only one fish (the red and white one) survived the rigours of the winter so we added four new fish to keep it company.

Reflection:
Psalm 136:3-9 New International Version (NIV)
"Give thanks to the Lord of lords:
His love endures forever.
to him who alone does great wonders,
His love endures forever.
who by his understanding made the heavens,
His love endures forever.
who spread out the earth upon the waters, His love endures forever.
who made the great lights—
His love endures forever.
the sun to govern the day,
His love endures forever.
the moon and stars to govern the night;
His love endures forever."

  1. I always forget when I come here that you are in a different season. It's a pleasant surprise!

  3. I'm enjoying a cool morning for once. I don't mind warmth, but really hot weather wears me down.

    1. Never stays hot for long up here. I am sitting by a fire again now, we are back into the low teens again but hopefully a sunny day tomorrow.
