Leap of Joy

There is so much to be happy about. In the garden it is refreshing rain and the exuberance of spring beginning to burst.

Refection:
Psalm 28:6-7New International Version (NIV)
"Praise be to the Lord,
for he has heard my cry for mercy.
The Lord is my strength and my shield;
my heart trusts in him, and he helps me.
My heart leaps for joy,
and with my song I praise him."

Gazing

It has been dull and rainy of late so I have been lovely to gaze on the cheerful daffodils bowing under the weight of raindrops.

Reflection:
Psalm 27:4New International Version (NIV)
"One thing I ask from the Lord,
this only do I seek:
that I may dwell in the house of the Lord
all the days of my life,
to gaze on the beauty of the Lord
and to seek him in his temple.

Reflection:
Psalm 26:2-3 The Message (MSG)
"Examine me, God, from head to foot,
order your battery of tests.
Make sure I’m fit
inside and out
So I never lose
sight of your love,
But keep in step with you,
never missing a beat."

Remember me

I don't think I have remembered to show any of the camellias in the garden this winter, so I had better get one in now because pretty soon they will be taken over by the spring display.

Reflection:
Psalm 25:7 New International Version (NIV)
"Do not remember the sins of my youth
and my rebellious ways;
according to your love remember me,
for you, Lord, are good.

Glorious

On Monday evening as I was finishing my day's work I noticed our hallway was glowing pink so went outside and found this magnificent sunset.

Reflection:
Psalm 24:10New International Version (NIV)
"Who is he, this King of glory?
The Lord Almighty—
he is the King of glory.:
