Not so fit

I've been a bit creaky of late, with sciatica, arthritis and cold weather conspiring to make gardening a bit miserable.  But how can I be unhappy when there are fistfuls of violets for collecting.

Reflection:
Psalm 26:2-3 The Message (MSG)
"Examine me, God, from head to foot,
order your battery of tests.
Make sure I’m fit
inside and out
So I never lose
sight of your love,
But keep in step with you,
never missing a beat."

  1. Sorry to hear that you are creaky and in pain. I hope you improve in the warmer weather. I too have a pain to be investigated, I think it is gaul stones.

    1. Oh dear that sound much worse than my creaky back. I do hope it is something easily solved.

  2. Another great Psalm.
That's an attractive grate under the violets. Hope you feel better soon.

    1. I am already feeling much better than I was last week. Especially on the weekends when I don't have to sit at the computer all day.

The grate is actually a garden table.

  3. I always think of winter as a work pass in the garden.
