This week brings us to the end of our series on the Psalms ... ending with the last Psalm in the book ... a peon of praise, like the joyous display in this tiny corner of the garden.
I am going to take a blog break until the New Year. I wish you all of wonderful Christmas and special time of refreshment, joy and blessing.
Psalm 150 New International Version (NIV)
"Praise the Lord.
Praise God in his sanctuary;
praise him in his mighty heavens.
Praise him for his acts of power;
praise him for his surpassing greatness.
Praise him with the sounding of the trumpet,
praise him with the harp and lyre,
praise him with timbrel and dancing,
praise him with the strings and pipe,
praise him with the clash of cymbals,
praise him with resounding cymbals.
Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.
Praise the Lord."

The tomato plant hung on at the vege patch and now has me salivating in anticipation. I've got basil in the herb garden coming along fine too.
This is the season of advent as we await the joyous celebration of the birth of Christ.
Psalm 42 (New International Version)
"As the deer pants for streams of water,
so my soul pants for you, my God."
