Camouflage

The King Parrots are always plentiful in the maples at this time of year.  The lady King Parrot blends in well with the colour scheme, unlike her red suited mate.

Reflection:
Psalm 50:11-12 New International Version (NIV)
"I know every bird in the mountains,
and the insects in the fields are mine.
If I were hungry I would not tell you,
for the world is mine, and all that is in it."

  1. Great capture, Joan. Such a beautiful and regal queen to her bold mate.

  2. Beautiful coloured bird. We don't have those birds here deep in the 'burbs.
