I will get out tomorrow to photograph some of the unfolding Autumn but in the meanwhile I have a question to ask. The plant above had a nice variagated leaves last year. All the new leaf this year was plain green. Why is it so?

Posting late again because we went for a drive today.

Ecclesiastes 7:10 (New International Version)
Do not say, "Why were the old days better than these?" For it is not wise to ask such questions.

  1. I do not know the answer to that, but I bet the good Professor JSM could have rattled off something relevant.

  2. honey, just because. that's how
    i answer all "why" questions.

    wish i knew!

the oil spill, times square bomb? :)
    oh, i forgot global warming.

  3. i think it has to do with something in the soil..or water? just a guess

  4. That happened to my variegated geraniums. Xavi could probably tell you. He is a botanist in Barcelona but he knows all about our plants. You could find him in my comments.
