I've noticed something odd.  The camellias that were so reliable in flowering during the drought have barely flowered this year and the other smaller flowers are the best they have ever been.  I dunno, gardens are a mystery to me.

"But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you and keep you from evil" 2 Thess 3:3

  1. It's a pretty shot, even without flowers.

  2. well, as least the leaves are glorious.
and i LOVE the spider web!

nothing new at my place just wanted
to visit my friend from down under.

  3. Seriously ... it's biblical ... isn't there something ... cyclical ...

  4. Gardens are a mystery to me too! My camellias did the same thing last season. Wonder why? Carla

  5. Me too.
My camellias are doing what they always do!

  6. Letty, I would expect your camellias to be well behaved, you shower then with such love and I know you and Julie actually understand gardens.

Julie, yes there is a time for everything according Solomon. I thought the garden cycle was summer, autumn, winter, spring. How come my camellias forgot that it was winter and the time for them to do their thing? The neighbour's bushes followed their cycle perfectly.
