Joy times

Ah Spring!  And I saw three beautiful birds this week I tiny Eastern Yellow Robin flitting among the still bare branches of the maple An inky blue-black Satin Bowerbird looking debonair for his lady friend with a white blossom in his beak A gentle Brown Cuckoo-Dove taking a drink at the shallow pond.   Reflection: Psalm 32:1-2 New Living Translation (NLT) "Oh, what joy for those whose disobedience is forgiven, whose sin is put out of sight! Yes, what joy for those whose record the Lord has cleared of guilt."

This is the week the garden explodes with its Spring display -- we are eagerly waiting. Reflection : Psalm 31:15 New International Version (NIV) "My times are in your hands."

In the morning

The exuberance of summer pared back to the bones of winter now swelling with promise, caught in the morning light. Reflection: Psalm 30:5 New International Version (NIV) "Weeping may stay for the night, but rejoicing comes in the morning."

Strength and Peace

Today's photo is a borrowed view looking over the fence into the neighbour's garden. My magnolias have disappointed me by not flowering again this year. Reflection: Psalm 29:11New International Version (NIV) "The Lord gives strength to his people; the Lord blesses his people with peace."
