Love nest

A bowerbird has recently moved in beside the pond. He has set up his courtship bower of sticks and decorated it with blue objects to attract a mate. I saw some females there the other day, perhaps he is having some success. Reflection: Song of Solomon 1:16 "Look at you! You are handsome, my beloved, truly lovely. How lush is our couch."

The season has been quietly changing in the garden with the annual return of favourite flowers. It's been glorious gardening weather this week so I have been busy doing some tidying up. Reflection: Luke 12:27-28 King James Version (KJV) "Consider the lilies how they grow: they toil not, they spin not; and yet I say unto you, that Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. If then God so clothe the grass, which is to day in the field, and to morrow is cast into the oven; how much more will he clothe you, O ye of little faith?"
