So good

The summer garden feels so good when it's green - not parched and dry.  We have builders doing repairs on the house at the moment.  They have been enjoying sitting in the cool shade of that tree for lunch each day.

Reflection:
Psalm 7:9-10 The Message (MSG)
"You get us ready for life:
you probe for our soft spots,
you knock off our rough edges.
And I’m feeling so fit, so safe:
made right, kept right."

  1. The grass in my backyard has been patchy all summer, so last week's rain did it a world of good.

    1. Ours was really green a few weeks ago when this photo was taken but we haven't had rain for a few weeks so not quite as green now. Out west at our other house it has been a dry hot summer. At Clandulla it is a year since we last mowed the grass and it still doesn't need mowing!
